  • Variable valve control allows the lift, duration and/or timing of the intake or exhaust valves to be altered while the engine is in operation.
  • Two camshafts (DOHC), one operating intake valves and the other exhaust valves, are located above each bank of cylinders. The design is very adaptable to multiple intake and exhaust valves.
