2020 Jeep Gladiator Begins Shipment.
The Gladiator is the first Jeep pickup since 1993. According to a company news release, Jeep added 329 full-time positions at the Toledo Assembly Complex for production of the vehicle.
Earlier this month, a limited run of 4,190 Launch Edition versions of the pickup sold out in less than 24 hours.
Bruce Baumhower, president of United Auto Workers Local 12, which represents hourly workers at Toledo Assembly, confirmed that “Gladiators are being loaded on rail cars and shipped out.”
